KITA

The KITA is a very flashy cloth used by the Akans an


ethnic group composed of (Baoulés, Agnis, Akyés,

Adjoukrous, Abbeys, Abidjis, Ahizis, Abourés, N’zimas, 

Alladjans, and Ebriés
) and also by the Krous another 


large ethnic group from the West of the country composed 

by Didas, Néos all from Cote D’Ivoire.


This type of cloth is also present in the culture of some 


ethnic groups from Ghana and Togo.


The KITA is rich in colors, design and modals and it is used 


in various styles such as clothes, hats, bags of bread, lady 


bags, jewels, shoes etc,.



IVORIAN CLOTHES


There are a large variety and styles of the Ivorian clothes.

The clothes of Yakubas and Guérés two ethnic groups in 

the West and the cloth of Baoulés , an ethnic group in the 

Center are the most known and popular clothes of the 

Country but there are so many other ethnical clothes.



These clothes are used to cloth the just married couples, 



the traditional chiefs or VIP.


All these clothes are used by Ivorian stylists to create 



clothes modals for men, women and children of all ages, 

for musical instrument protections, decoration and art 

etc.
